The Kachapuri Main Building Facilities
The Kachapuri Main Building, to the north of the villas, is adjacent to a large swimming pool facing the open plaza on the beach with wooden decks, a reception area, a restaurant with a choice of tables inside or on the veranda and a café cum lounge, spa treatment rooms, a function hall, six single-bedroom suites and a penthouse that can be opened up into one exceptionally large double bedroom suite.
Kenyang Restaurant
The intimate restaurant has been designed around an open concept, allowing views into the kitchen and behind the bar where final presentations are detailed. Air conditioned in the main area, doors open onto the generously proportioned open air verandahs where guests dine with panoramic views of the sea, sand dunes and lake, and to the swimming pool and surrounding decks.
KetumBar Lounge
Sink into our deep couches in the cool shade, or opt to recline on the verandah. The KetumBar serves the swimming pool area, the verandahs and the lounge with a range of refreshing tropical cocktails, and wines from our glass-walled wine room. A chess set, novels and magazines — even a classical guitar! — are available to help you while away the time.
Gymnasium
A fully-equipped gym is located on the lower ground level of the main building, with adjoining shower and toilet facilities. A great way to finish up after your morning run on the beach, working out with a view through the large windows looking out into the surrounding forest.
Gamelan Hall
A special double-height function room with huge windows looking into the forest can be used for meetings or special gatherings. A traditional Malay gamelan is also housed here and the room will be utilized for periodic cultural events.
Bathroom Amenities
Every room at The Kasturi is stocked with amenities especially produced for us by Malaysian artisan spa supplier Tanamera. Tanamera seeks to use the most natural ingredients available, responsibly sourced, and packaged in unbleached recycled paper.
